A Changeup

If you're here today, you've probably noticed I've changed things up on the color/font scheme. I thought it was time at least. I like the basic design but I needed something to open my eyes a little. Anyway, I'm going to be writing a 3-part travelogue this weekend on just a part of my trip to Korea in 2002. I did say I'd get around to it, so I'm going to do it. The part I'll be talking about is a trip I took near the end of my 3-weeks there--the journey down, the stay and then the return to Seoul (where I was based for most of my stay).

In the meantime, I have a cold that's nagging me and I'm working by myself today and Monday. Boss is taking his 3rd four day weekend out of the last four. He also didn't check on getting an extra license key for Windows XP so I could run some of the new software for the company on my home computer, and since the trial part of it expired the other night, forced me to spend nearly $200 to keep things going smoothly. I'll be looking for a reimbursement somewhere along the line. The one good thing is I've secured the days off I need for Cassie's graduation (May 19-26). I'm driving out to Wisconsin and back--means a new alignment and fixing a windshield if there's money left over after bills in the next month.

Wanted to sue Xerox for faulty equipment the other night but that's over with, thankfully. Kept me at work on my dad's birthday until nearly 10 pm. I did get to say happy birthday in person before the day was over, though. Good thing he's not big on presents though. On my soccer site I've had 4-digit hits the last 3 days, so that's pretty good too. Anyway, more travelogue this weekend.

Thank you for the compliment about the new look. Yep, I think I caught the cold from my parents. I hope I feel better in time for Sunday when my nephew comes for a visit.
