Here's a gem of a bill that's just been introduced by failed presidential candidate John Edwards. I'm sure every other legislator is kicking themselves, saying, "why didn't I think of this?"
S. 2303. A bill to help American families save, invest, and build a better future, and for other purposes; to the Committee on Finance.
I want a better future, too. What about single people senator? I jest because I'm sure there's about a thousand bills like that languishing up on the Hill and collecting dust. Plus, I haven't exactly read the text of his bill, nor do I plan to read it. I have a rant in me about Congress, but I'll save that for another time.
If you ever care for a laugh once in awhile, just read some of the things in the Congressional Record. On the other hand, what you read might well scare you.
