I hope I've written that correctly--help me please.
My dad gave me the email address of my cousin in Spain. When I last saw her, she was 7 and I was 17. Now she's 25 and with a long-time boyfriend. She's the web expert in her family, and she passed along her email to him because of some legal stuff going back and forth between my parents and her family in Spain.
I haven't communicated at all with anyone on my mom's side since I was last there, so it would be nice to catch up with life on that side of things. What I know comes from my mom, and though I appreciate that, I know I'm missing out on a lot, so I hope I can cobble together enough Spanish (I'm not sure how much, if any, English she knows, and even if she does, I wouldn't mind working a little on my Spanish) to write a coherent and understandable letter.
I remember her as an adorable little girl who liked to be carried a lot.
Should be interesting--I hope I don't butcher the Spanish language.
True. I have a dictionary to help out, but I know enough to communicate (though definitely a bit rusty), and it'd be cool to hear from her. It's easy enough to connect w/my dad's relatives, but I've actually looked for an opportunity to connect more with my Spainish background, and here it is.
